Before you buy your flight, it's important you know which Hot Air Balloon company to trust.
So below, we've set out a few tips on what to look for when choosing the right operator.
- Location: do they offer a large choice of locations? and do they fly from a location convenient to you?
- Interest: do they launch from a decent site of historical importance or beauty, centrally located or nearby to attractions?
- Luxury: do champagne toasts, presentation voucher packs, first-flight certificates and insurance come as standard?
- Service: do they promise a great customer experience?
- Licences: are they licenced by the Civil Aviation Authority?
- Accreditation: do they belong to the British Association of Balloon operators? Are they NFU and CLA accredited?
- Convenience: do they offer free transport back to the launch site when required?
- Safety: are their pilots the most experienced and well-trained in the business?
- Their fleet. is it a modern fleet equipped with the most up-to-date safety equipment and on-board in-flight photo systems?
- Online Booking: do they offer online booking and convenient 24/7 access to your booking details?
- iVouchers: do they offer iVouchers for that gift you forgot?
