Northamptonshire

Northamptonshire, situated in South East Midlands, is known as the county of Squires and Spires, offering a stunning mix of some of the most charming villages, majestic stately homes, and beautiful churches. Our flights depart from Northampton and Kettering.
Northampton, on the banks of the River Nene, is well known for the manufacture of footwear it’s a lively market town with many historic buildings. One of the jewels in the County’s events calendar is the Hot Air Balloon Festival held in Northampton which takes place annually in August.

The Roman market town of Kettering in the North East of the county is situated on the West side of the River Ise, a tributary of the River Nene which meets at Wellingborough. Your hot air balloon flight will take you over an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Rockingham Forest which is situated in the North East of the county and covers some 200 square miles. Northamptonshire is also known for its numerous stately homes such as Rockingham Castle, Althorp and Boughton House which are stunning when viewed from the air.
