Our hot air balloons will be on display at Basingstoke Balloon Festival
This year’s Basingstoke Balloon Festival will take place between the 6th and 8th of August, with an expected 50,000 visitors it’s sure to be an event not to be missed! The festival kicks off at 6pm on Friday 6th August, with gates opening at 12 noon on Saturday and Sunday.
Over 30 balloons will be tethered, flying and taking part in the balloon glows. The event has been around for 20 years and shows no signs of stopping with popularity increasing each year! Mass hot air balloon launches, a Funfair, plenty of food stands, family activities and arena acts and the incredibly popular Night Glow at 9.45pm on Friday 6th August, which will see hot air balloons come to life with light and music!
Arena shows include The Stannage International Stunt Team, English School of Falconry and a Moto X display East Coast FMX!
Go Ballooning will have a stand at the event all weekend for visitors to see what we have to offer them. We will be operating balloons and night glows throughout the weekend event, including balloon flights from the festival arena! There will be several exclusive Basingstoke Balloon Festival promotions available, so be sure to check out the Go Ballooning stand when you arrive!
Entrance to the Basingstoke Balloon Festival is FREE! So come join Go Ballooning at the ballooning event of the year!!
